Northwest Offers Free Amenitites on Flights

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Northwest Airlines said it has begun complimentary cabin amenities on all flights across the Pacific and to and from Hawaii as part of a $442-million program to enhance the airlines’ customer service.
The move to free in-flight enteratinment and complimentary drinks will extend to all transatlantic flights May 1.
“Northwest is the first U.S. airline to offer this customer-friendly approach on all its transoceanic services,” said A. B. Magary, executive vice president of marketing.
