What: Voters go to the polls today in Tustin to fill three seats on the City Council; in the 31st state Senate District to elect a replacement for former Sen. William Campbell (R-Hacienda Heights), and in San Juan Capistrano to decide on a $21-million park bond measure.
Who: There are eight candidates in the Tustin City Council race: Carole Bryant, John Norman Butler, incumbent John Kelly, Berklee A. Maughan, Dennie E. Pederson, Jim Potts, Leslie Ann Pontious and Charles E. Puckett.
In the 31st state Senate District race, the three candidates are Assemblyman Frank Hill (R-Whittier), Democratic candidate Janice Graham and American Independent Party candidate Robert Lewis.
When: Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
