GARDEN GROVE : Rosey Grier to Speak at Mayor’s Breakfast

Former Los Angeles Rams football player Rosey Grier will be the featured speaker at the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday.
Grier, an actor, author and ordained minister, will address the group gathered to honor local churches. Among those receiving recognition will be the Garden Grove Friends Church, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and the Garden Grove Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose members are being recognized for performing community service work.
