Dugas Wins 3 Games to Lead Cypress

Sally Dugas pitched a three-hitter for her third victory of the day and Cypress College defeated Moorpark, 2-1, in the semifinals of the Visalia softball tournament Monday.
Dugas (15-2) pitched a two-hitter and struck out seven as Cypress beat Taft, 2-1, in a second-round game, and four innings of no-hit relief as the Chargers (30-4) beat Bakersfield, 2-1, in eight innings in a quarterfinal.
In the semifinal game, Cypress scored twice in the third inning on Rose Ferrante’s RBI double, followed by an RBI single by Dugas.
