Abortion

I wonder how many union members are aware that the AFL-CIO is ready to go on record in support of abortion on demand unless union members protest.

This means union dues will go for endorsement of pro-abortion candidates and legislation. This is not a labor issue. Union involvement can only cause dissention and can hurt the effectiveness of labor.

Union members not in favor of supporting pro-choice causes may choose to withhold their dues. I suggest union members remain neutral on this issue. Our unions were never supported to dictate our moral convictions.
