Intel Corp.: Strong demand for its 32-bit microcomputer components helped the Santa Clara, Calif.-based firm post record net income for the first quarter of 1990. Revenue was $894 million, up 25% from the same period a year ago, and net income was $144 million, a 48% increase from first-quarter 1989.
