Security Guard Charged in Nightclub Slaying

Inglewood police have charged a security guard who worked at a nightclub for teen-agers with the March 31 shooting death of a Los Angeles man outside the club, authorities said Thursday.
Abdul Mohammed, 38, who was volunteering as a security guard at RBD-Joshua’s on Manchester Boulevard, and another suspect who is still at large, both allegedly followed Kevin Davis, 19, to his car after an argument and fired at him with semiautomatic pistols, police said.
Mohammed, accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in this week at Inglewood police headquarters.
He is being held without bail at Los Angeles County Jail and will be arraigned for murder next week in Inglewood Municipal Court, police said.
