Peter Micelli, a 6-foot-8 center from Beverly Hills High, signed a national letter of intent Thursday to play basketball for Cal State Northridge.
Micelli, who averaged 24 points and 14 rebounds a game, was the Bay League’s Most Valuable Player last season. He is the seventh player to sign with Northridge, which will move from the NCAA Division II to Division I level next season. Five junior college players signed Wednesday; a high school player signed in November.
