Hit-And-Run Kills Van Nuys Boy, 6

A 6-year-old Van Nuys boy was killed Monday when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street, Los Angeles police reported.
Gilberto Torales was jaywalking when he was struck by a car heading west on Saticoy Avenue as it approached the Noble Street intersection, police said. The driver sped away.
