Bush to Deliver Five Commencement Talks

WASHINGTON — President Bush will deliver five commencement addresses next month, including one at the Rev. Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University, the White House said Wednesday.
Bush has bowed out as the graduation speaker at West Point on May 31, however, because the date conflicts with his summit with Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev, White House spokesman Marlin Fitzwater said.
The President will speak at Oklahoma State University on May 4, Texas A&I; University on May 11, the University of South Carolina on May 12, Liberty University on May 12 and the University of Texas on May 19.
