WHAT NEXT? Two years ago, Foothill High in Tustin was up in arms because the school paper was forbidden to print a sex-habits poll. Now the students are upset again because they don’t get enough homework (B1). “You think kids would be happy with no homework, but they’re not,” said one senior. “They know it’s going to affect them. . . .” The first effect of a protest: letters of misconduct and probation for about 100 participants.
