Brose, Goffredo on New School’s Staff

Rancho Bernardo High School will have at least two coaches with section championships on their resumes when it opens in the fall.

The Broncos have named Peggy Brose the girls’ basketball coach and Tony Goffredo the boys’ and girls’ tennis coach.

Brose led Mt. Carmel to the section title in 1988 and again this year. Goffredo coached Mt. Carmel’s boys to a tennis championship in 1989 and has reached the finals three of the past four years.

Also named were Poway assistant Chris Carter, who will coach the boys’ basketball team, and Jeff Ukrainetz, who leaves Mt. Carmel to head the Rancho Bernardo swim program.
