Carson Beats Banning to Win Softball Title

Carson High parlayed the six-hit pitching of Gina Su’a and a strong defensive effort Thursday into a 5-1 victory over Banning to capture the Southern-Pacific Conference softball title at Dolphin Park in Carson.
The Colts finished with a 9-1 conference record, while Banning ended up at 8-2. Both of the Pilots’ losses were to Carson.
