Semco Reports Income Up 44% to $90,237

Semco Instruments Inc., a Valencia producer of electronic recorders, sensors and other components for the aerospace industry, reported first-quarter net income of $90,237, up 44% from $62,532 a year earlier.
The company attributed the upswing in profit to a 60% increase in its sales for the quarter ended March 31, to $1.6 million from $978,873 a year earlier.
