Four Firms Indicted for Price Fixing: An indictment delivered in St. Louis charged that Stanley Works, Hager Hinge Co., McKinney Products Co, Lawrence Bros. Inc. and five individuals conspired between 1986 and 1988 to raise the prices of architectural hinges. The indictment also named Richard G. Martin, president and general manger of the Stanley hardware division. The company and Martin said they will plead not guilty.
