Koito Rejects Pickens’ Demands: An executive of Koito Manufacturing Co., an Japanese auto parts maker closely tied to Toyota Motor Co., said his company will reject Texas financier T. Boone Pickens Jr.’s demand for four seats on the board despite his position as the largest shareholder. Koito will reject all seven demands Pickens has made, said Kenichi Matsuura, Koito’s managing director. Pickens owns more than 20% of Koito.
