Cudahy : Atlantis Motel Renovated, Reopened With New Name

The Atlantis Motel, a run-down residential motel that was shut down by Cudahy officials last month, has reopened as the new and improved V.I.P Motel.
Simon Shen, a representative of owner Jau Huang, said that Huang spent about $300,000 in renovations including paint, carpeting, furniture and television sets for the 40-room motel. Huang also hired a new management company and had the swimming pool filled with cement and converted into parking space.
