Two National Lampoon Executives Resign: Home video producer J2 Communications, which has agreed to buy National Lampoon Inc., announced the resignations of Tim Matheson and Dan Grodnik, co-chairmen and co-chief executives of the humor magazine. “Our primary objective in obtaining capital for National Lampoon will be fulfilled with the completion of the purchase of National Lampoon by J2,” they said.
