Pendleton: Some traders from the old frontier--well, Frontierland at Disneyland to be exact--are coming to South Coast Plaza’s Crystal Court mall in Costa Mesa today.
Pendleton Woolen Mills, which has operated a retail clothing store at the Magic Kingdom since 1956, has moved to an 1,800-square-foot shop on Crystal Court’s second level. The retailer, based in Portland, Ore., sells both women’s and men’s casual wear with a Western flair.
Bob Roth, a Disneyland spokesman, said the decision came after Disneyland and Pendleton were unable to agree on terms for future operations. The store has been replaced by a Disney-operated Western-wear store, Bonanza Outfitters.
