Quarterback Todd Gragnano and defensive lineman Hartwell Brown have dropped out of the Shrine All-Star football game, South co-coach Jim Barnett said.
Gragnano, of Los Alamitos High School, is not playing because he will leave for the University of Nebraska on July 27, the day before the game. He was replaced by Charles Levy of Lynwood.
Brown, who also played at Los Alamitos and will attend Stanford, dropped out of the game because of a hip injury. He was replaced by Kevin Murphy of Paramount.
