SHORT TAKES : Hillerman Joins ‘Hogan Family’

John Hillerman, who won an Emmy for best supporting actor for his role in the long-running “Magnum, P.I.” series, has joined the cast of “The Hogan Family” sitcom.

Hillerman will be seen in the role of Lloyd Hogan when the CBS-TV series returns to the air this fall.

Hillerman’s character will be introduced in the first episode, a two-part segment that takes place in California. He plays father of Michael (Josh Taylor) and Sandy (Sandy Duncan) and the grandfather of the children in the story.
