American Mobile Systems Inc., a Woodland Hills operator of mobile radio systems, said it completed two transactions that will increase its capital and allow it to obtain a listing on the NASDAQ National Market System, which is the main market for over-the-counter stocks.
The company said it completed a tender offer that exchanges about $8.75 million of outstanding debt for American Mobile common stock. Also, previously issued warrants were converted into common shares, raising more than $2 million for the company, it said. A total of 5.42 million new shares were issued in the transactions, American Mobile said.
The company said it also completed the sale of its Washington, Baltimore and Phoenix mobile radio systems to Dispatch Communications for $5.45 million.
