A 35-year-old man fell to his death from the top of Veterans Stadium during the early innings of the baseball game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets, police said.
The man, whose name was not released, fell from the 700 level to the 300 level and landed on a cement ramp behind the stadium seats, police said.
Detective Lt. Richard Eife said the fall appears to have been an accident and homicide detectives were not called. He added that alcohol may have been involved.
