Support Group Forms for Troops’ Families

A North Hollywood behavioral health care center will host a weekly support group for family and friends of soldiers stationed in the Middle East, officials announced Sunday.
The group, which will meet Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9 p.m., also is open to relatives of hostages being held in Iraq and Kuwait.
Psychologist Jon Perez, director of the LifePlus trauma recovery team, said the support group will seek to alleviate some of the anxiety associated with the troop deployment.
The group will meet at the LifePlus Coldwater Canyon Hospital, 6441 Coldwater Canyon Ave. in North Hollywood. There is no charge.
