Slaying at Motel

An unidentified man, believed to be an illegal migrant from Mexico, was found shot to death early Sunday at a motel in National City, police said.
Members of the motel security staff found the body in a room at Sweetwater Inn, 2435 Sweetwater Road, at 6 a.m., said Sgt. Steven Murray of the National City Police Department.
The man, believed to be 35 to 40 years old, had been shot once in the back, Murray said. Homicide agents are investigating.
