TWA Ad Agency Quits: Unhappy with its diminished advertising compensation, the giant New York agency Young & Rubicam has resigned as the agency of record for Trans World Airlines. It is not immediately known if the airlines will put the estimated $45 million business up for review or attempt to handle much of it in-house. “It is not a happy moment for us,” said Joseph E. DeDeo, president of the ad firm. DeDeo declined to elaborate.
