A television reporter dropped assault charges against the Detroit Pistons’ Isiah Thomas because he was satisfied with the player’s apology, authorities said.
Virg Jacques, of WJBK-TV, had claimed Thomas choked him and threw him against a car in a parking lot at Oakland University in suburban Detroit.
