YORBA LINDA : 5-Acre Park OKd by City Council

The City Council has approved a plan to build a 5-acre park on the city’s rapidly growing east side.
The $500,000 park, to be located at Paseo de Toronto near Bryant Ranch Elementary School, will include a picnic area, gazebo, barbecue pits, a lighted basketball court, two lighted tennis courts and playground equipment.
In addition, the park plan incorporates a baseball diamond and soccer field already constructed next to Bryant Ranch School at 24695 Paseo de Toronto.
Yorba Linda’s Parks and Recreation Department recommended to the City Council that a provision be made to consider lighting the baseball field.
