Donald J. Barr, publisher of Sports Illustrated, was named an executive vice president of Time Inc. Magazine Co. He will be succeeded by Mark R. Mulvoy, former managing editor of the sports weekly. Mulvoy’s post will be filled by John L. Papanek, most recently managing editor of Sports Illustrated for Kids.
