COUNTYWIDE : Teen to Compete at National 4-H Event

An Agoura 4-H Club member who makes ice cream from goat’s milk will represent Ventura County at the National 4-H Congress in Chicago.
Amy Albitre, 18, won Southern California regional, state and Western sectional contests to qualify for the national competition Dec. 1 to 5. She is a student at Pierce College and has been a 4-H member for nine years.
Albitre, the daughter of Sue and Tony Albitre of Agoura, was a Ventura County 4-H all-star in 1989. She also won awards at this year’s Ventura County Fair. She plans to be a veterinarian.
