BOSTON — Boston Bruins defenseman Ray Bourque will miss about two weeks with a sprained right shoulder, the team said today.
Bourque, the team captain, suffered the injury on Wednesday in a game with Vancouver. He returned to Boston and was examined today by Dr. Bertram Zarins.
Bourque said the injury occurred in the first period against Vancouver. He was up along the boards and his right arm was pulled up and out in an awkward position.
