COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Long Beach Hands Titans Another Volleyball Loss

Antoinnette White had 16 kills to lead Cal State Long Beach to a 15-9, 15-1, 15-5 victory over Cal State Fullerton in Big West Conference women’s volleyball Friday at Titan Gym.
Defending NCAA champion Long Beach (15-6, 5-4 in conference) is ranked 13 in the nation. The Titans are 6-21, 2-8.
In Golden State Athletic Conference volleyball:
Southern California College 3, Fresno Pacific 1--Krista Hoover had 17 kills in leading host Southern California College (16-17, 5-4) to an upset of Fresno Pacific (21-13, 5-4), the sixth-ranked team in the NAIA.
In Big West men’s soccer:
UC Irvine 1, Cal State Fullerton 0--Kevin Smith scored the goal for Irvine (5-4-1, 1-4-1) in its victory over Fullerton (5-4-3, 3-3-1).
