Pasadena : Three Contracts Awarded

Three contracts were awarded last week by the Board of Directors:
* A $61,381 contract to Dora De Larios for a brass sculpture at the Villa Parke Community Center, now undergoing a $6.9-million renovation.
* A $27,885 contract with Pinson and Ware to restore the City Hall Council Chamber ceiling.
* A contract with the Old Pasadena Business and Professional Assn. to remove old trees and plant 99 new ones along Colorado Boulevard between Pasadena Avenue and Arroyo Parkway. Under the five-year contract, the association will pay $53,150 for the work. The remaining $5,250 will be paid by the city, with the city directing an additional $4,800 in state gas tax funds to the project.
