I realize that it’s not fashionable these days to say anything good about Reagan, but you could have at least mentioned his name in your editorial (“Gorbachev Clearly Deserved It,” Oct. 16) about Gorbachev winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
Whether you like it or not, Reagan’s leadership was an important component in the crumbling of communism.
