Two teen-agers received minor injuries and two others were arrested after allegedly firing a BB gun at a group of youngsters trick-or-treating in Santa Clarita Park, sheriff’s deputies said.
A 15-year-old Saugus boy and a 17-year-old Encino youth were arrested on suspicion of assault and weapons possession, Sheriff’s Lt. William Bengtson said.
The youths, whose names were not released because they are juveniles, were turned over to their parents.
Officers were patrolling in the 27000 block of Sycamore Creek Drive at 8:20 p.m. when they were flagged down by a teen-ager who said two youths had fired at the group, Bengtson said.
The officers found a gray BMW carrying the two suspects and confiscated a pellet rifle, a BB gun and a set of nunchakus, a martial-arts weapon.
A 15-year-old girl suffered a welt on her hip and a 13-year-old boy was hit on the shoulder.
