ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Atlantic City heavyweight Bruce Seldon stopped David Bey of Philadelphia in the 10th round Thursday night at the Taj Mahal Hotel Casino.
Bey turned toward his corner after absorbing a combination punctuated by a right to the nose and he quit. Ringside physicians confirmed that Bey sustained a severe nose fracture.
Seldon, 16-0 with 13 knockouts, had controlled the pace behind a quick jab and bursts of combinations. It was the third time that Bey, 19-7, had been knocked out.
