Corona del Mar Water Polo Team Loses Coin Flip

Corona del Mar High School’s water polo team, the top-ranked team in the county for six of the past eight weeks, will be the third-seeded team from the Sea View League in the Southern Section playoffs after losing a coin flip Thursday.

Newport Harbor won the toss and will be the top-seeded team, and University will be seeded second. Corona del Mar, University and Newport Harbor finished tied for the league championship with 5-1 records.
