USIU Ballet Troupe to Appear in Poway

SAN DIEGO — The International Ballet of United States International University will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 9 and at 2 and 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts.
The four-piece program, which will be the first appearance at the North County venue by the university’s ensemble, will include three of Elizabeth Rowe Wistrich’s recent works (“Straw Feet,” Samuel Barber Adagio and Concerti), and James Kelly’s big-band theater piece, “Swing.”
USIU’s International Orchestra will accompany the Samuel Barber Adagio at all three performances.
