Pan American World Airways: The New York-based airline reported a third-quarter loss of $29.2 million, compared to a loss of $21.9 million in the same period last year. Revenue, however, rose 13.2% to $1.1 billion. The company blamed a 30% increase in oil prices, plus higher landing fees and airport charges.
