Sensationalism. That is the only reason I can assume that your paper had to put those photos of Go For Wand on the front page of Sunday’s sports section. Wasn’t it enough to be subjected to NBC’s constant replaying of the horrible spill without getting another kick in the gut from my Sunday paper?
Next time, try showing the winner crossing the finish line and tell us the details in your story.
