La Jolla Country Day High’s eight-man football team defeated Borrego Springs, 50-0, in a game called by consent of both coaches at the end of the first quarter.
La Jolla Country Day (9-0 overall, 5-0 in the San Diego Section) had run six offensive plays, three of which went for touchdowns. Borrego fell to 2-6, 1-5.
