A 17-year-old San Diego youth was killed early Saturday when he lost control of the car he was driving on a freeway on-ramp in Chula Vista and was ejected, authorities said.
The victim was identified as Oscar Fletes.
Three passengers suffered minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at 4:30 a.m. on the Orange Avenue on-ramp leading to southbound Interstate 805 in Chula Vista, the patrol said.
