Monte Rio, a new condominium project developed by John Laing Homes in north San Diego, opens this weekend at 9345 Babauta Road.
The two-story units, targeted to first-time home buyers, have been designed in a contemporary style with special features that include niches, built-in shelves and common amenities that include the use of two pools and spa.
Units range in size from 1,380 to 1,714 square feet, with two-car garages. They are priced in the $170,000 to $190,000 range, with an approximate homeowners monthly fee of $150.
The project will be ready for occupancy next summer; models are open Thursdays through Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
