KCET has a curious but engaging Saturday night double feature: The Loved One, 9 p.m., the all-star 1965 film of the Evelyn Waugh novel satiring Forest Lawn and adapted to the screen by Christopher Isherwood and Terry Southern for director Tony Richardson, and Kiss Me Deadly, 11 p.m., the terrific 1955 Robert Aldrich film noir with Ralph Meeker as ideal casting for Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer.
