NEWPORT BEACH : Church Concert to Aid Rescue Mission

A benefit concert for the Orange County Rescue Mission will be held tonight at Mariners Church here.
The concert will feature Christian music, including performances by Darrell Mansfield, John Gibson, Chris Lizotte, Mike Stand and Bill Drake, plus a reunion of the Lifters.
Those who attend the concert are asked to donate $5 or bring a wrapped gift worth $5 or more. Gifts should indicate the appropriate age and sex of the recipient. The gifts will be distributed through the Rescue Mission, and the donations will benefit a planned 300-bed facility for unwed mothers and their children.
The concert will start at 7 p.m. at Mariners Church, 1000 Bison Ave.
