Readers Have Name for It: Mike Downey
I deeply resent Mike Downey’s Nov. 28 diatribe regarding the Lisa Olson case. The reader does not need his guidance in the area of moral convictions. I am certain that all of us who read The Times can avail ourselves of superior advice in the field of morality than that provided by Mr. Downey.
Let us realize that this is a matter dealing with sports--entertaining, exciting, yes, but still only sports. It is not an earthshaking matter. Let us not shelve all moral precepts over something of no more importance than this.
