GADDI AGAIN: His name had fallen off lists of possible successors to Pete Wilson in the U.S. Senate--until Sunday. . . . On the nationally syndicated TV program “McLaughlin Group,” Morton Kondracke, senior editor of the New Republic, said Orange County Supervisor Gaddi H. Vasquez’s appointment to the Senate was his prediction of the week. So far, no comment from either Wilson or Vasquez, whose name isn’t exactly a household word. . . . Even while touting Vasquez, Kondracke mistakenly identified him as a “Los Angeles County Supervisor.”
