Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s biggest oil exporters, is IMPORTING MILLIONS OF BARRELS OF JET FUEL and other refined products for Operation Desert Storm. One analyst estimated that aircraft carrying on the attacks on Iraq are eating up about 40,000 to 50,000 barrels of jet fuel daily. Other analysts have put it at several hundred thousand barrels daily. Oil industry executives say Saudia Arabia has imported 8 million barrels of petroleum products since December; none was imported before the war.
