Long Beach : Water Service Going Up 9%; Sewer Fee Increased by 15%
- Share via
The cost of water and sewer services in Long Beach is going up by the end of this month.
City Council members have approved new fees that will increase the average resident’s water bill by 9% from $15.46 to $16.85 per month.
The council also approved new sewer rates, which will increase the average residential customer’s bill by 15% from $2.10 to $2.43 per month.
The increases are regular rate adjustments and not a result of the drought, officials said.
