STILL SECURE: The war is over, but John Wayne Airport security remains tight. . . . Only ticketed passengers can get through checkpoints to the gate area, which is hurting some food and gift-shop operators. Now, an airlines’ representative says, the FAA is thinking of making the anti-terrorism measures permanent. . . . An airport spokesman says the FAA knows the tightened security is “not something we’d like to have continued for very long.”
